Now in it's second running the Ithaca Festival Mile will again officially kick off the Ithaca Festival. The Festival Mile is a straight, flat, point to point USATF Certified Mile. Thousands of spectators lined the back half of the inaugural running and over 200 kids are expected to round out the event's final heat, the Family Mile. I will not hold any of the organizers, landowners, the American Red Cross, Bang's Ambulance, the City of Ithaca, the Finger Lakes Running Club, the Finger Lakes Running Company, the Ithaca City School District, the Ithaca Festival, the Ithaca Youth Bureau or Recreation Partnership, the Road Runner's Club of America, Pat Leone Timing, Tompkins County, the United States Track and Field Association, any agency within the State of New York, Cities, Towns, and Fire Departments of Watkins Glen and Montour Falls, Watkins Glen Central School District, or any volunteers responsible. My actions and mishaps are accountable to no one but myself. I agree to withdraw from the race if so instructed by a race official.
