De Soto invented this product in 1993 and it has become a staple product in just about every company involved in triathlon. The inspiration came after three triathletes broke their collarbones carrying single-shoulder-strap bags on their bikes to the start of their races. The wetsuit compartment is a laminated waterproof sack connected via a zipper-opening to the bottom. Inside the duffle-style opening there is a keychain hook, a sunglass/goggle/mp3 case made of soft-plush fabric, a large vented mesh pocket, and a small tool pocket. Outside there is a thermal insulated pocket to hold cold food, a mesh water bottle holder that fits a liter-size bottle, a waist strap and ergonomic padded shoulder straps, and a zippered mesh pocket. Our pack is the first to have an adjustable buckled strap to hang the pack on the transition rack to get it off the ground. The pack has a volume of 3600 cubic inches.
Included in the price is a 17x24-inch foldable changing mat to stand or sit on.
